About
Hi, I'm Rahat. Nice to meet you.
I’m an independent WordPress developer based in Bangladesh, working with clients around the world. For the past six years I’ve spent most of my days building websites that are quiet, fast, and easy to trust.
“Build like it will outlive you.”
my working motto
My story
I started building websites in high school, mostly for classmates, mostly for free, mostly badly. It took a few years before I realized what I actually enjoyed wasn’t shipping features. It was the quiet parts: shaping information, tuning typography, watching a page load faster than it did yesterday.
That quiet obsession is what carried me from a first job at a small studio, through a senior role at a larger agency, to the independent practice I run today. Somewhere along the way WordPress stopped being just a CMS to me and became the surface I use to think about content, performance, and design.
Today I work with a small number of clients at a time: founders, agencies, and product teams who care about the details as much as I do.
What I believe
A few things I hold quietly firm on.
01
Technology should solve problems.
Not create new ones. Complexity is a debt, not a feature.
02
Simple wins.
The best solution is usually the smallest one that does the job well.
03
Performance is respect.
A fast site respects the visitor’s time, attention, and data plan.
04
Communication is half the work.
Clean handoffs, clear updates, honest scope conversations.
05
Good UX creates trust.
You don’t earn trust with claims. You earn it with the interface.
06
Learning never stops.
The web changes. I try to change with it, quietly.

Beyond work
Off the clock, quietly.
When I’m not shipping websites you’ll usually find me reading, writing, drinking too much coffee, or slowly working through the same photography book I’ve had open for a year.
Reading – non-fiction, mostly
Writing – notes on craft
Coffee – pourover, always
Photography – 35mm film
Travel – slow, when possible
Open source – small contributions
